School Field Trip to Living History Farms

Dear Parent and Guardians,

We will be taking a field trip to Living History Farms on [date].  We will board the buses at [time] to leave the school and return to school around [time].  We will be eating lunch there.  Please make sure lunch boxes are labeled and help us to reduce waste with reusable items.

Details for the field trip:

• Students will be doing a lot of walking so appropriate clothes and shoes should be worn.
• Students can bring their own water bottle; however, they will be responsible for carrying it throughout the field trip.
• We will be outside for most of this field trip. Sunscreen is encouraged and should be applied at home before coming to school.
• Parents who would like to attend may, however, parents will have to drive themselves to Living History Farms. There is also no guarantee that you will be able to board the tractor cart with your student as there is a maximum capacity.  Parents are responsible for paying their own $19 admission fee upon arrival or online ahead of time.  Please refrain from bringing siblings.  Also, please let your child’s teacher know if you plan on attending as you will still need a school badge. Parents who plan to come, and arrive late, will need to contact the teacher directly to find where they need to meet.  Living History Farms does not give information on the location of students.
