When does my membership start?

Immediately. Membership purchases made online or via phone receive a confirmation email that includes a link to your digital card.

How do I add my digital LHF membership card to my phone?

Your digital LHF membership card will be emailed to you. Access the email from your mobile device and click the “download” button.

For iPhone users: Click the “Add to Apple Wallet” button. Your card will be added to your virtual wallet.

For Android users: You will need to create a virtual wallet by downloading Wallet Passes from Google Play. After downloading the app, access the email from your smartphone and click “download.” The card can then be accessed from the Wallet Passes app.

I didn’t receive an email to download my digital LHF membership card. What do I do?

My name is spelled incorrectly. How do I change it?

How can another person listed on my membership download the card?

Once you have downloaded your digital LHF membership card, open your digital wallet to view it. Click the small “i” or “…” on the front of the card. Locate the “share pass” button, to send your digital membership card to anyone on your membership.

Can I upgrade my membership to include the Blank Park Zoo or Science Center?

Yes, depending on when your membership is up for renewal. To inquire about upgrading your membership, please send an email to members@lhf.org with your current ID number and current membership type (from your digital membership card).

I’m a TRI or combo member. Can I use my digital LHF membership card at the Blank Park Zoo or Science Center of Iowa?

If you are a combo or TRI member, you will receive a digital membership card from each organization. Each organization requires the use of their specific membership card for admission.

Can I use my digital LHF membership card at other museums for free admission or discounts?

Yes, your digital LHF membership card can be used for reciprocity at more than 300 other Time Travelers organizations. Members are eligible for a variety of discounts on admission and retail purchases. View the complete list of participating museums and their reciprocal discounts here.

I downloaded my card but can’t find it. Where is it?

For iPhone users: Your digital LHF membership card will be in your Apple Wallet.

For Android users: Your digital LHF membership card will be in your Wallet Passes app. Make sure you have the Wallet Passes app downloaded before adding your digital LHF membership card.

When does my membership expire?

All memberships expire at the end of the month one year from the date of purchase.
(Ex: A membership purchased on December 15, 2020 will expire on December 31, 2021.)

Membership renewals are extended for one year from the current expiration date.

How do I receive the membership discount on my day camp registration?

To receive the day camp member discount, the child attending camp must be listed on your LHF membership.

What is the refund policy for membership to Living History Farms?

LHF memberships (including combo and TRI packages) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Can I purchase a membership for my group or daycare?

No, our membership program is designed for individuals and families.

What are the guidelines for visiting Living History Farms?

All guests must observe our museum  Code of Conduct. You may read the Code of Conduct online. It is also posted in the Visitor Center and available upon request at Admissions.
