Photo Policy

Film/Video/Photos for Non-Commercial Purposes

Film, video, and still photography is permitted at Living History Farms for personal, non-commercial use, provided all the following apply:

  1. Photos cannot be sold.
  2. No tripods are allowed to block outdoor or indoor visitor pathways.
  3. The party is not permitted to stop Farms traffic in order to take the photos.
  4. The party is not permitted to disrupt Farms visitors, staff or the animals in any way.
  5. Drone photography is not allowed, as it can cause disruption for visitors and animals.
  6. Photos must be taken during regular Farms hours and admission must be paid for admittance to Living History Farms.
  7. Photography involving nudity or adult content is not permitted in the exhibits or on the grounds of the Museum.

 

Film/Video/Photos for Commercial Purposes

For all film, video, and still photography produced on Living History Farms’ grounds for commercial purposes, a written agreement must be entered into with Living History Farms and a fee paid per the current fee guidelines. For standard photo/video shoots, our rates are $150 per hour, with a three hour minimum. This includes wedding, engagement, and senior picture photos.
