The following programs are available to schools. Choose one of the programs below to learn more, and to make a reservation.
Reservations for fall 2021 will open Friday, August 6. Reservations for spring 2022 will open September 15.

Learning Excursion trips for schools and homeschools connect youth of all ages to Midwestern rural life experiences. Offered in spring, summer, and fall during our regular season, these curriculum-connected tours are based on the State Board of Education’s social studies standards. Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance, and are subject to availability.
Available October-December and April
Exploration programs are an in-depth experience, designed to give students a deeper understanding of the history of farming and rural life in Iowa. All programs are 2-3 hours in length and require 3 adults, (teacher plus two additional adults), admitted free of charge. Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance, and are subject to availability.

Let Living History Farms come to you! LHF offers curriculum-based programs, which involve a mixture of multimedia presentation, artifacts, and hands-on activities, built around a central theme. These programs are intended for students in grades 2-5. Each session can accommodate 25 students. Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance, and are subject to availability.
