Staci Harper Bennett

Staci is a Des Moines native whose fondest childhood memories include time on her grandparents’ cattle farm making cinnamon rolls with her grandmother and bottle-feeding calves with her grandfather. After nearly 10 years working in the museum world focusing on facilitating outstanding visitor experiences and developing strong community relationships, Staci accepted her current role as Executive Director of the Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce.

Staci earned a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Drake University, and is currently a doctoral candidate at Creighton University.
