1 full day
Session: July 2 or 3
This is a ONE-DAY experience for families who would like to be involved in camp together. Come for a day with your family and experience life on the frontier. During the day, you and your family will experience the routines of life on the prairie as you help to prepare a meal over an open hearth, do farm chores, attend school in a one-room schoolhouse, and play games from 150 years ago.
1 adult is required for every 2 children in attendance. “Family” is loosely defined, and can include grandparents bringing grandchildren. “Family” does not include your child’s friends, but can include his or her cousins.
Registration for Pioneer Family Camp starts Jan 3 (Members), Jan 24 (Non-members)
Living History Farms Day Camp program is accredited by the American Camp Association, the only nationwide organization that accredits all types of organized camps.
