Come graze with us, celebrating Iowa’s rich culinary bounty with unique monthly tastings in our Visitor Center. Gather your friends and explore local food and beverage specialties made from Iowa agricultural products. Enjoy chatting with winemakers, micro-brewers, artisan bakers, cheesemongers, and other local food experts about their crafts, while tasting their wares in a casual atmosphere. LHF’s Cabin Fever event series showcases Iowa businesses through four events: Farms Uncorked, Cocktails & Comfort Food, Beer ‘n’ Bread, and Festival of Cheese.
Advanced ticket sales for each event end at noon the day before. Tickets may also be available at the door, if not sold out
Visit with cheesemongers, and other local food experts about their crafts, while tasting their wares in a casual atmosphere. Sign up for a 30 minute class exploring fondue with CJ Biernert of the Cheese Shop of Des Moines or cheese boards with Arielle Neher, Certified Cheese Professional – class size limited. (UPDATE – classes have sold out).
Classes have sold out. Our Fondue class begins at 3:45 pm and the Cheeseboard Class begins at 4:45pm. Both classes will last approximately 30 minutes.
