Spring Barnyard Readers

Alice in Wonderland Victorian illustrationIn 1865, Lewis Carroll published Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. This tale of a young girl and her fantastic adventures in a fairytale world quickly became a hit with young and old alike in Victorian England and America. Together with your 3, 4, or 5 year old, hear this tale again, in the historic setting of the Flynn Mansion. Then tour the house and participate in hands-on crafts and activities relating to the story.

Wednesday, April 7 – Alice Dances with Animals

Wednesday, April 14 – Alice at a Mad Tea Party

Wednesday, April 21 – Alice Meets Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum

Wednesday, April 28 – Alice and the Queen’s Croquet

Program Schedule

Please arrive on time so the program may begin on time. Meet at the Visitor Center to begin.

10:00am – Introductions, restroom break, travel to Flynn Mansion
10:15am – Read stories
10:30am – Tour and do activity
11:15am – Wrap up and final questions
11:30am – Depart
