Join us for a day of holiday traditions old and new!
At the Visitor Center, kids can make a craft to take home and enjoy a visit with Santa. We’ll also have music from The Greensleeves (1:30-3:30) and treats for sale from Iowa Orchard.
At the Flynn Mansion, you’ll enjoy Victorian carolers (2-4 p.m.) while you string popcorn for the Christmas tree and help plan a Victorian Christmas menu.
At the Church of the Land, you can decorate your own Christmas cookies and sing along with holiday tunes.
Historic interpreters throughout the 1876 town of Walnut Hill will print holiday handouts in the Print Shop, make orange and clove pomanders in the Drugstore, demonstrate baking traditional treats in the Tangen Home, and hand out coloring sheets in the Millinery.
Weather permitting, we’ll have wagon rides from the Visitor Center to the church.
