A team spelling contest just for grown-ups
Friday, February 19 • 6–8 p.m.
Open to adults 21+

Were you a spelling bee champ in your school years? Or are you haunted by a bee horror you want to heal? Here’s your chance to revisit this traditional American contest with the support of some co-spellers. Enter in teams of up to four—friends, co-workers, families. Members of the winning team each receive a yearlong museum membership, plus bragging rights.
How it works
One team member steps up at a time. When a speller misses, the next team member steps up. Once all spellers on a team are out, the team is eliminated. The winners are the team with the last speller standing.
Second chance
Stumped? $25 buys you a new word. This option may be used only once per team.
Fees
• Team registration: $200 for up to four people (includes four drink tickets and four pizza tickets)
• General admission: $10 (does not include drinks and pizza)*
*Spectators under 21 are welcome, but we will check IDs for drink sales
