Register for The Teacher’s Toolbox for Teaching Iowa’s Farm History

Been looking for some tools that you can use immediately in the classroom to incorporate Iowa’s farm history? Then this is the class for you! This class will learn and practice seven techniques for teaching about history. Learn what an object from the past can tell you about the people who made and used the object. Study photographs, documents, buildings, and landscapes to learn more about the details of the past. In addition, teachers will learn how to use these techniques to tie local history into subjects other than social studies!
