FAMILY CAMPS

One-day camp experiences for families with children 5 and older and at least one adult

1900 Family Life Camp

Friday, August 14
9am–3pm

Experience what life on a farm was like in the early 1900s! Help with daily farm chores and grooming horses. Learn house chores like laundry, meal planning, and budgeting. Work together to make a tasty treat using a wood-burning stove.

Victorian Family Camp

Saturday, August 15
9am–3pm

Explore life in the Victorian Era and see how different (or similar) our lives are today. Learn proper etiquette—from which flowers to send to how to hold your fan. Play Victorian lawn games, some of them still familiar today.

Basic information

  • Fee is per person.
  • 1 registered adult is required for up to 4 children in attendance.
  • Dress for the weather and for being outside.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes.
  • Bring lunches, snacks, and water bottles.

  • Scroll down, select appropriate grade, and choose your camp. Add participant to cart. Add all the camps you want to your cart before you proceed to payment.
  • Please read our Cancellation Policy. You will be prompted to agree to this policy to complete your order.

Step 3: Watch for these three emails:

  • Immediately: Confirmation of payment from do_not_reply@versaiwebservices.com.
  • Early in the week preceding camp: Details of drop-off/pick-up, counselor name, flag color, etc. from daycamp@lhf.org.
  • Later in the week preceding camp: Personal introduction from your counselor.

Registration closes one week before camp starts.
