Talk about bridging a gap, with the creation of this blog the 1900 farm is jumping about 100 years. While being planted firmly in the past at Living History Farms in we are also taking steps toward the future, through blog updates. We are going to feature things from the past; old recipes, commentary on the farm happenings, and updates on your favorite animals. From time to time we may also feature a behind the scenes look at our open-air museum in Urbandale, IA. Use the blog to plan your visit, remember what you saw before, learn something new about agriculture, or be entertained through activities on a Midwestern turn of the century farm, right here on your computer.
For more information on our museum visit www.livinghistoryfarms.org.
Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you on the farm soon!
