A celebration of the ultimate comfort food - cheese! Grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese fondues, cheesecake, cheese curds - you get the idea. Discover what creative variations local chefs make of traditional favorites. Taste samples from our event partners: Ingersoll Wine and Spirits (Contributing Sponsor), and Big Rack Brew Haus, Cafe Su, The Cheese Shop, Doe's and Diva's Dairy Inc., Frisian Farms, Lost Lake Farm, Machine Shed Restaurant, Penoach Winery, Practical Farmers of Iowa (members of the Cheese Guild), Summerset Winery, and Urbandale HyVee.
Cheese Class: SOLD OUT Attend a 45 minute class with C.J. Bienert, owner of the Cheese Shop ($5.00) during Festival of Cheese. In the class you'll explore the "Seven Styles of Cheese". Learn about Fresh, Washed, Bloomy Semisoft, Semihard, Hard and Blue Cheese. This class has sold out for both sessions.

You must be 21 or older to attend, and photo ID required for admittance. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.
To assure ample opportunity for tasting, there will be two sessions, each with limited tickets sold. Please specify your time of choice when making your ticket purchase.
