Farm Sites
Walking trails and tractor-drawn carts connect our historical sites. Each site is authentically farmed or worked by interpreters in historical clothing.

The farming techniques of the Ioway Indians pre-dated history and varied somewhat from European methods.
1850 Pioneer Farm
The split rail fence, wheat field, rooting pigs and log house represent a four-year-old farm, established when Iowa became a state in 1846.
1875 Town of Walnut Hill
