| | Henry A. Wallace Exhibit Center Discover the changes in agriculture and farm life during the past 100 years in the Henry A. Wallace Exhibit Center.
Leading to the Exhibit Center, see the changes in crops for yourself at the "Seeds of Change 20th Century Crop Walk." Follow the pathway past plots of crops beginning with native grasses and ending with modern hybrid corn.
Inside the building, experience the changes in farm life with the exhibit "America's Agricultural Legacy - The Drive for Abundance: Farming, Families and Everyday Life in the Midwest." The exhibit features interactive displays including state fair judges from 1950 and 2000 to show changes in livestock, a single row corn picker with oral histories about the change from horse-power to tractor power farming, and full kitchens from 1950 and the modern day to compare the changes in food packaging and preparation.
