Memberships can be purchased online, at Admissions when you arrive, or by calling the Administration Office during weekday business hours at 515-278-5286.
Visitors are welcome to bring in their own food and beverage to enjoy at Living History Farms. Visitors are also welcome to leave and come back the same day. For your convenience, we offer two food options. The Flynn Cafe, on the north side of the Flynn Mansion, offers hot and cold food options, including sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, and pizza. The Flynn Cafe is open daily from 11 am to 2 pm. The Snack Shop, located in the town of Walnut Hill, offers many vending machine snack and beverage options. The Snack Shop is open during our regular business hours.
