Farms Uncorked

Saturday, January 24, 3-6pm

Come sample a wide variety of Iowa wines and meet with local vintners from Covered Bridges Winery, Penoach Vineyard and Winery, Vines to Wines, Cedar Ridge Winery, and Train Wreck Winery. Enjoy tasty bites from Chocolaterie Stam, Allspice, and La Quercia, brief info-sessions on wine-related topics, and shop the MarketPlace Gift Store for your favorites. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks are included.

 

  

Spirits and Sweets

Saturday, February 21, 3-6pm

Dare to pair one of a kind mini-tini's mixed by Iowa artisan distillers with bite-sized sweets and savory items created by local eateries. Visit with distillers about the process of making spirits with Iowa grains. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks included. Thank you to our event partners: Cedar Ridge Distillery, Dehner Distillery, Vom Fass, Werner Distilling, Iowa Legendary Rye, La Mie, ROGUEsweets, Jay’s Cookies, and Gateway Market.

 

 

Beer n’ Bread

Saturday, March 14, Two sessions: 3:00-4:30pm; 5:00-6:30pm

Come meet the people behind your favorite Iowa craft brews, and explore the art of home-brewing with local experts. Enjoy a variety of micro-brew tastings from across the state, and sample fresh artisan breads. We'll have samples from 515 Brewing Company, Confluence Brewing, Millstream Brewing, New American Brewing Company, Twisted Vine Brewery, La Mie Bakery, Allspice, and South Union Bakery. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks are included. To assure ample opportunity for tasting, there will be two sessions, each with limited tickets sold. Please specify your time of choice when making your ticket purchase.

 

 

 

 

NEW and Improved! Festival of Cheese

Saturday, April 18, Two sessions: 3:00-4:30pm; 5:00-6:30pm

Tickets available online until noon, April 17. If not sold out, tickets will also be available at the door. 

A celebration of the ultimate comfort food - cheese! Grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese fondues, cheesecake, cheese curds - you get the idea. It's the cheesiest event around. Discover what creative variations local chefs, Iowa craft cheese makers and local cheese mongers make of these traditional favorites. To assure ample opportunity for tasting, there will be two sessions, each with limited tickets sold. Please specify your time of choice when making your ticket purchase.
