Do you know a 3, 4, or 5-year-old that loves stories about farm animals and living on a farm? If so, then this 90-minute reading-based, activity-filled program will be perfect for them!
Begin by reading a book or two about the day's featured animal and participate in an activity in Living History Farms' Visitor Center. Then, board a tractor-drawn cart for a ride to the animal’s home at one of the farms. Meet and interact with the animal of the day, and take a look around the barnyard. After your visit, hop back on the tractor-drawn cart for a ride back to the Visitor Center.
Programs occur from 10:00am-11:30am on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or (new!)* Saturdays.
In general, the schedule will be as follows for each individual program. Please arrive on time so the program may begin on time. Meet at the Visitor Center to begin the program.
With each Program Pass, you'll learn about sheep, chickens, pigs, cows, horses, oxen and wagons.
