Education Programs

Living History Farms is an educational, historical museum.  But don’t worry – you’ll have so much fun you will forget you are learning!  We offer award-winning educational programs and a dedicated education department.

Living History Farms is more than just great entertainment for the whole family, we also offer a great educational resource that supplements any history-based school curriculum.

Scheduling Your Program

Please call the Living History Farms Education Department at 515/278-5286 or email at educ@lhf.org to make your reservation. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Reservations must be made three weeks in advance. When you call or email, please provide the following:

    * The tour or program you would like
    * Desired date (with alternatives)
    * Anticipated arrival and departure times
    * Name of teacher in charge
    * Complete mailing address and telephone number
    * Grade and number of students
    * Any special needs of your students
