Living History Farms is continually looking for donations of items for the museum. The Curations Department seeks artifacts to add to our historic sites and programs. The Interpretive Resource Library needs books, maps and other documents about agricultural and Midwestern history. The Collections Committee meets each month to review applications for item donations.

The museum also accepts donations of other items including business supplies for the administration offices, various craft items for the Day Camp program, kitchen and laundry appliances for the historic dinner programs, tools and machinery for the maintenance department, and host of other miscellaneous items for other areas and departments necessary to keep a historic museum running in a modern world.

In-kind donations in the form of a service, product, or other item are also welcome to support special events, yearly programming, or general maintenance.
